On March 6, 2009, Mollenberg Betz was awarded VPP Merit status by the Department of Labor and OSHA in recognition of safe work practices by General Industry standards. This makes Mollenberg Betz the first mechanical contractor in Western NY to achieve such a distinction. Congratulations to all!!

Mollenberg-Betz is being nominated for OSHA’s highly selective VPP accreditation. MBI has completed all the requirements and are being recommended for Merit status by OSHA. The next step will be in 2009 when MBI plans to apply for Star status, the most elite of OSHA’s VPP program.

Congratulations to Aaron Ohar, a 4th year apprentice, for placing 1st in the Regional Steamfitters Apprenticeship Contest. Aaron will now compete with 5 other apprentices for the National Championship this August in Ann Arbor, MI.

MBI was awarded the $1.5M HVAC project for the 3 story office building being built at 2410 North Forest in Amherst.

Charlie Zimmerman and Russ Parry were awarded the $1.7M HVAC and Refrigeration project at Kraft Foods Walton. Congratulations!
